DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO COULD BE A SAFETY HOUSE?
The Safety House program needs volunteer members of the local community who, after interview and checking, agree to act as a Safety House and be available to help any child in need who comes to their door. The Safety House program is a Community based program of Good Neighbours being there to help any young child in need. Some smaller local business premises may also be suitable to become registered Safety Houses in the local community. The Safety Householder must hold a valid Working with Children Card and there is no other cost involved and the program is totally voluntary. The Safety House Nomination program is a way to say thank you to people who introduce new Safety Householders. When someone gives the Safety House WA Office the name of a person to talk to, who then becomes a registered Safety House, a $10 Safety House Gift Voucher will be awarded as a thank you.
