A new local Safety House group can be started up by any group of people interested in registering places of help and safety in their community for young children who may need assistance. This local group could be based around a school or group of schools or it could be based on a community, area, suburb, town or city.
A group of local community volunteers called the Safety House Committee is set up to look after the registered Safety Houses in the group and work with the support of the Safety House WA Head Office to promote and spread the child safety message in their local school and community.
